Math Placement Exam Testing Cycles
Each box represents an opportunity to take the exam. Move clockwise around the diagram
What is a testing cycle?
There are two testing cycles as seen in the above diagram... the red cycle and the blue cycle.
The red cycle includes:
- Registration for Fall (taken during the Spring)
- Welcome Week
- First Day of Fall Semester
- Skills Testing during the fall
The
blue cycle includes:
- Registration for Spring (taken during the Fall)
- First Day of Spring Semester
- Skills Testing during Spring Semester
The testing cycles determine when you are eligible to take the placement exam. You may only take the placement exam ONCE per testing cycle. For instance, if you took the placement exam last during Welcome Week (the red cycle), you must wait until Registration for Spring (the blue cycle) to take the exam.
