This is its interpretation:

• Do the review exercises (1.4).
• (Optional) Read Discrete Math: The Graphic Novel section(s) as listed.
• Read the section(s) to be covered next class.
• In this particular case, section 2.1 is listed on the calendar. Because it is the first section of a chapter, also read the preamble before the first subsection. This is very important and will help orient you for a chapter. Do not skip this.
• Do the preview exercises (2.1.2, 2.1.4).
• Arrange written exercises in the order as assigned, staple as one packet, and bring to class.
• Also remember to finish survey1 from previous homework.
