Precalculus and Calculus 1 Math Placement Exam Testing Cycles

What is a testing cycle?
There are two testing cycles as seen in the above diagram... the
red cycle and the blue cycle.
The red cycle includes:
- Registration for Fall (taken during the Spring Semester)
- Spring New Student Welcomes
- Welcome Week
- Second Day of Fall Semester
The
blue cycle includes:
- Registration for Spring (taken during the Fall Semester)
- January testing for Spring
- Second Day of Spring Semester
The testing cycles determine when you are eligible to take the
placement exam. You may only take the placement exam ONCE per
testing cycle. For instance, if you took the placement exam
during Welcome Week (the red cycle), you must wait until
Registration for Spring (the blue cycle) to take the exam again.
